IK Received a Call from Volodymyr Zelensky, The President of Ukraine

ISLAMABAD: Ukrainian President phoned the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan on Tuesday, the topic of discussion was the current Russia-Ukraine war and the crisis it brought to the world along with the solution to the problems at hand.


The Prime Minister expressed condolences and grievance towards the conflict and encouraged diplomatic and peaceful ways to address the issue.

IK said that the war has brought havoc not only on Ukraine but also on the world as it has affected the economies and fuel prices across the globe.


PM also added that countries like Pakistan can play a helpful role in the ceasefire. Imran Khan also thanked Ukraine for the help in the Pakistani students' and citizens' evacuation from the country.

Peshawar: On the 4th of March, a suicide-bomb blast took place in a mosque during the Jummah Prayer. The location of the mosque was in the heart of Koocha Risaldar in the area of Qissa Khwani Bazaar. According to reports, the suicide bomber shot two policemen who were at the gate of the Imamia mosque for security purposes and forced his entry towards the premises of the mosque. One of the policemen was martyred whose name was Jamil and the other one (Farman) was injured by the gunshots. Europe Gas Supply in Jeopardy

President Vladimir has threatened Europe to pay in Russian currency for one-third of Russia's gas supply to Europe. This is by far the most decent step by Putin to crush the Ukraine invasion sanctions. The threat has been rejected by the European governments, Germany is calling it "blackmail". Moscow had planned for buyers to obtain roubles from the Russian bank. Europe wants to get rid of Russian energy but it can have a huge impact on fuel prices. Russia also has its biggest revenue source at stake.
