The Mastermind behind Peshawar Massacre

Peshawar: The mastermind of the terrorist organization that was responsible for the Peshawar Massacre was arrested by the Intelligence last year and was under surveillance, reported on Monday.

The group first made its appearance through the assault on last year's Christmas celebrations, which was averted successfully, the area was put under much security due to the information got from the mastermind in custody.
The whole motive of the attack was to defame Pakistan and its image globally. But the suicide bomber was still missing.
“Intelligence officials were everywhere — as per information of the man under security officials’ captivity — but the bomber reached directly to the handler after coming from Afghanistan,” the official told The Express Tribune. The interrogation gathered information about the bomber that entered Pakistan for the attack on 25th December.
But the attack on Friday was very brutal and killed 63 people with dozens of injured.
This attack was the biggest extremism-motivated attack in the history of Peshawar. Previously, two Imambargahs, one in Chamkani and the other in Hayatabad, were also targeted by terrorists but on a death scale basis, the magnitude was low.
The investigation concluded that the bomber whose name is concealed, nick-named Abdullah, his family moved to Pakistan from Afghanistan during the war.
“His inclinations towards religious extremism had been first noticed when he refused to accept a reward from the female principal of his school when he topped eighth grade,” the officials shared.
Later, Abdullah disappeared and his parents filed a missing report. But after some time, he was reported to be in Balochistan under training before he went to Afghanistan.
As the group was under surveillance, the officers were able to take action against them immediately.
